About In House Graded (IHG)

Welcome

Welcome to In-House Graded! At In-House Graded, we specialize in coin certification through our unique in-house grading process, evaluating and certifying coins exclusively from our own collection. Unlike third-party grading services, our method ensures that each coin is assessed with care and precision, using the trusted Sheldon Grading scale. Our grades are based on expert opinions developed through years of experience in buying, selling, and assessing coins, guaranteeing that each grade reflects a thoughtful evaluation of the coin's condition, rarity, and appeal. Each graded coin is securely slabbed, assigned a unique serial number, and labeled with detailed information about its grade and characteristics. This meticulous process preserves the integrity of every coin while providing transparency regarding its grade and features. By focusing solely on coins within our own inventory, we maintain complete control over the grading process, upholding the highest standards of quality and presentation. At In-House Graded, we believe that every coin carries a story—a piece of history waiting to be discovered. Our mission is to preserve these stories while offering collectors coins graded with expertise, passion, and dedication. Explore our collection today to discover coins evaluated with care and precision.

About In House Graded Slabs

In House Graded Standards

At In House Graded, we specialize in high-quality, in-house grading and slabbing for our coins and currency. Our experienced team utilizes the Sheldon Grading Scale to ensure every piece meets our stringent standards for coin certification. All grades are opinion-based, provided by a 20-year coin and currency professional. We adhere to a White Glove standard while setting all coins and currency into holders for slabbing. (IHG) only grades coins purchased from the public and private sectors, and we do not offer 3rd party grading services.

Please Note: All of our products are listed in the Graded & Slabbed tab. If you do not see the coin you are researching with a serial number and security number, then it is not one of our graded and slabbed coins or currency. All of our slabs are glued, sealed with a tamper-proof security tag, and have a tamper-proof serial number. Slabs that have been tampered with or broken will be completely voided. All grades are opinion-based grades. All coins and currency are guaranteed to be authentic.

The Silver 1oz Prospector by ENGELHARD

In 1982, ENGELHARD was the first company to offer the silver round to the public for sale, marking the birth of the iconic 1oz silver prospector round. In 2006, ENGELHARD was acquired by BASF for 5 billion dollars. Since ENGELHARD ceased its production in 2006, these rounds have become highly sought after by coin collectors, especially those interested in coin certification and in-house grading for slabbed coins.
